I recently had the pleasure of photographing a stunning Big Sur wedding at Wind and Sea Estate, a venue that perfectly captures the breathtaking beauty of the California coastline.
Vivian and Christopher’s love story began in Laguna Beach in 2014, where they met at a friend’s birthday party. What started as long conversations that lasted into the early morning quickly turned into something more. Vivian knew right away she had found her future husband, even telling her friends that same night. For Christopher, it took a little longer to realize he had met his match, but once he did, their relationship only grew stronger. Four years later, he proposed during a trip to Napa Valley.
When it came time to plan their wedding, they were navigating the challenges of COVID restrictions. But through it all, they stayed focused on what mattered most: celebrating their love surrounded by their closest family and friends. Their intimate wedding at Wind and Sea in Big Sur reflected that perfectly, simple, meaningful, and deeply personal.
One of the most special parts of their story is how they describe each other. Christopher loves Vivian’s spirit, intelligence, and drive, while Vivian admires Christopher’s commitment, dedication, and thoughtfulness. It’s the kind of connection that’s easy to feel when you’re around them.
